Where are you based?

I live in Phoenix, Arizona, but LOVE to travel. I’m from Illinois, so I do try to visit the midwest as often as I can. I love traveling, so don’t let a few miles stop you from having a session with me! :)

What type of sessions do you offer?

I’m primarily a portrait and product photographer. If you are interested in wedding photography, please contact me here. I shoot a select amount of very small, intimate ceremonies and elopements.

Do you offer mini sessions?

Not regularly. I do run occasional sales and promotions, so be sure to follow me on social media to stay up to date on those! @agnesartandphoto

What should I wear?

Once your session is booked, you will be sent a style guide for yourself and family with links to my Pinterest boards, as well. I’m here to help the whole way, each step of the process with wardrobe, hair, and makeup.

Where do you like to shoot?

Anywhere! If I can find or create beautiful light, I’m happy. Together we will decide the best location for your session depending on the look you would like to achieve. I shoot in studios, in nature, in homes, in cities - you name, we can make it work. There are additional fees for certain places such as studio rentals and certain national forests and parks that are now charging session fees. We will go over all of that as we are choosing our perfect spot.

What if the weather is bad?

We don’t have to worry too much about this here in Arizona, but the occasional rainy day does happen. I actually love moody, cloudy days. So, I will still plan to shoot unless rain is involved. (If you want to shoot in the rain, though, I’m ALL IN!). If it does rain and we are meant to shoot outdoors, we will choose another date that falls within the next couple of weeks from our original session date.

How do I prepare my family for our session?

One of the guides you will receive has some great tips and tricks to help everyone prepare and feel at ease. We want to set a tone of fun for the little ones. Preparing them for a good time works wonders. And that’s what we will be doing - having fun! There will be lots of movement and play to keep them occupied and entertained. The session should feel like play rather than something they have to do. We won’t worry about meltdowns because I’ll be prepared to work around and through them. Just know that all anyone has to do to prepare for a session with me is to show up, be present, and open. There may be surprises. Kids LOVE to throw us for loops, right?! That’s what makes life such an adventure :)

Right here on my contact form! Every product, brand, company has specific needs when it comes to imagery. That’s why we will talk via phone, video chat, or over coffee to discuss what your specific goals are for your brand session before anything. After all the details have been discussed, I’ll put together a vision board and proposal for your needs and we then make some magic together!
