Hi! I’m so glad you are here.

I’m Heather.

I have been a photographer for over 20 years and have shot it all. I am so grateful to have had so many experiences in my photo career because it has led me to where I am today - having a grounded knowing of what I love to shoot and where my passions live.

I received my BFA in Photography from the University of New Mexico many moons ago. I have spent my time living in the midwest, southwest, midwest, and back in southwest again. I find both portraits and branding work fuel my creativity in such a fulfilling way. My drive to create honest, emotional images for families to pass down generation to generation is just as strong as my desire to create meaningful work to help businesses grow and be seen. No matter what I’m photographing, I’m striving to create something meaningful that speaks to the truth of what’s in front of my lens whether it be a moment between a mother and child or beautifully styled bottle of perfume. Storytelling is always my mission. Every moment of every day for all of us is unfolding into stories often untold – gut-wrenchingly beautiful, magical moments. So many of them go unnoticed. We move so fast through this world. It is so important to me to pause and honor our lives with photographs. Generations to come with thank us.

My images have appeared in gallery shows across the Midwest and Southwest. My work has been featured in several print and online publications including: Self Magazine, Vogue, Vogue Japan, New Beauty, Beauty Independent MagazineArizona Foothills Magazine, Looks Like Film, Fearless & Framed, Shoot & Share, and Tribe Redleaf.
